Taking Action
Can't Talk Staff

All of us at Can’t Talk have been struggling for weeks over how to react to the election results here in the US. We’re not certain of anything except that we’re afraid and angry about what may happen in the future. However, we are committed to continuing our mission of promoting inclusivity in geek and gaming culture and providing a safe space for all those affected by mental illness.

What power we have, we believe, lies in action. But what can any one of us do to help support people in need? To that end, we’ve compiled a long (but not exhaustive) list of local, nationwide, and international organizations dedicated to all sorts of advocacy and support for all sorts of humans. Included are links where you can donate and/or volunteer your time to these organizations.

We need your help! Do you know of an organization doing good work for marginalized communities in your area? Please tell us in the comments. We will do our best to add every organization we can to the list. This is a living document, so if you find errors please let us know that, too. Please spread this list far and wide across the internet, so that all may take the opportunity to help through action if they can.
