On the second day of PAX Prime, Bell and Melissa are going strong closing portals in “BattleKasters.” (Miss the first day’s wrap-up? We’ve got you covered.)

A quick recap: “BattleKasters” is a mobile, location-based game where users close portals and interact with other players. There’s dark magic and beautiful art and fantasy naming conventions. What more could you want?

On day two of PAX, Bell started us off by giving us a quick-and-dirty tour of “BattleKasters”—what the menus look like, some of the cards you can collect, and the gist of how to play the game.

Then, Bell gave us a peek at the library and delved a little into the lore of the “BattleKasters” universe. Fun fact: The game is actually based on what is to be a book series on the world of Orkney. The first, “The Red Sun,” is already out.

Next up, Bell walked us through the journal, showing off how to create an account and a profile and the available achievements.

And last, but certainly not least, Bell showed us the various spells she has, some of which impact other players or protect against portals others have cursed.

Melissa and Bell will be putting up new content each day on YouTubeTwitter, Facebook, and Instagram—so be sure to check that out.

See you back here tomorrow!
